Apple harvest 2020

Energetic support during the annual apple harvest

This year again, the group “Neuland – Neustart” of the Bürgerstiftung Lebensraum has supported us actively with the apple harvest on our orchard.

The aim of the foundation is to improve the integration of women with refugee backgrounds. We would like to support this by donating 1€ for every liter of pressed apple juice.

We thank all helpers and look forward to seeing you again next year!

By the way: our orchard meadow is an important habitat for a large number of partially endangered animal and plant species. It does not require synthetic pesticides and mineral nitrogen fertilizers and has a positive effect on the local climate. Besides various apple varieties, it is home to many species of insects, chickens, horses and beehives from which honey is extracted.
