van den Berg has an excellent network and numerous partnerships.

Our management is actively involved in BITKOM and represents the board of the “Digital Payments” working group. In this way van den Berg actively participates in the development of the future of payment traffic for the German and European market. Regular exchanges with the BaFin and the Deutsche Bundesbank help us to always be up to date.

We are a member of the following associations, among others.

 

EBA Association

The Euro Banking Association is an association of nearly 200 European banks and today plays a major role in the financial industry, particularly as an initiator of new European payment systems and as a developer of their infrastructure. The EBA has contributed significantly to the creation of a Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).

 

UP KRITIS

The UP KRITIS is a public-private cooperation between Critical Infrastructure Operators (KRITIS), their associations and the relevant government agencies. The UP KRITIS addresses eight of the nine critical infrastructure sectors. The “State and Administration” sector is covered by the UP BUND. The aim of the UP KRITIS cooperation is to maintain the supply of critical infrastructure services in Germany.

 

Allianz für Cybersicherheit

With the Alliance for Cyber Security founded in 2012, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI- Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik) is pursuing the goal of strengthening Germany’s resistance to cyber-attacks.

Currently, 3852 companies and institutions are members of the initiative – and more participants join every day.

IT service and consulting companies and IT manufacturers are equally represented in the network as are user companies of all sizes and industries. This diversity is an important guarantee for a rich exchange of IT expertise and application experience from which all participants benefit.

110 partners and 92 multipliers are involved in the initiative and thus make a valuable contribution to more cyber security in Germany as a business location.

 

BITKOM

BITKOM represents more than 1,700 companies, including more than 1,100 direct members with 135 billion euros in turnover and 700,000 employees. BITKOM represents almost all global players as well as 800 medium-sized companies and numerous founder-managed companies. These include providers of software & IT services, telecommunications and Internet services, manufacturers of hardware and consumer electronics as well as digital media companies.

 

Deutschsprachige SAP Anwendergruppe DSAG

The Deutschsprachige SAP-Anwendergruppe e.V. (DSAG) in Walldorf is the independent interest group of users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Founded on June 25, 1997 as a registered association, the umbrella organization has established itself as the world’s largest SAP user group. The work of the DSAG is based on three pillars – information exchange, networks and influence. Building on this, it offers its members exclusive and early information on SAP strategy, (product) developments, and services.

Verband Deutscher Treasurer

The Verband Deutscher Treasurer e.V. is the leading national trade association for corporate treasury. It was created 1997 and counts at present approximately 1000 financial responsible persons from nearly 500 enterprises from the German-speaking countries among its members. Member enterprises are both prominent industrial groups and medium-size enterprises as well as all large banks, consulting firms, software vendors and WP societies. The association thus covers a representative cross-section of the German-speaking economy.

 

Cooperation with the ibi Research Institute at the University of Regensburg

ibi research at the University of Regensburg GmbH was founded in 1993 with the aim of transferring knowledge in business informatics between academia and practice. They are engaged in applied research and consulting in the digitization of two areas: Financial services and trade.

They work with the objectivity of science on the applications of the practitioner. They concentrate on the digitisation of financial services and trade, in e-business as well as multi-channel and B2C business as well as B2B business.

The research spectrum ranges from market analysis and business model development through process design and data analytics to governance and compliance issues. At the same time, they offer comprehensive consulting services for the implementation of research and project results.

Frankfurt Payments Network

The Frankfurt Payments Network (FPN) was founded in 2011 and is a non-commercial, independent association for decision makers and experts from the payments industry. Meanwhile, more than 150 personal members use central and regional events on a wide range of payment transaction topics.

Our board of directors, Christian Fink, represents together with 6 other experts the FPN’s board of directors.

Syracom

As part of the TARGET T2/T2S consolidation, the payment systems and components of the European Central Bank will be adapted. The areas of payment transactions, IT, liquidity management and back office are affected, in some cases significantly. Together with Syracom, we offer an extensive consulting service in this area and support our customers in the implementation.

Our partner Syracom has a high level of competence and in-depth expertise in the areas of payment transactions and securities business. Customers benefit from the good network with market participants and experts from the Bundesbank and ECB. For more than 20 years, the consulting company has successfully managed important and sometimes critical projects for customers in the SEPA environment, T2S migration and currently in T2/T2S consolidation. In addition to the analysis of business requirements, these include technical design, service implementation (customer and operational readiness, test support), migration and rollout
